TAKTOK SABOO TREK

Day 01 : LEH - TAKTOK
Morning drive to Taktok ( 45 km. ) visiting enroute Thiksey, Hemis, Shey and Chemday monasteries . Overnight camp at Taktok.

Day 02 : TAKTOK - BASE OF WARI-LA
Early morning visit the Taktok monastery and thereafter start the trek to base of Wari-la ( 15100 ft. ). The trek takes about 4 hours. Overnight in camp.

Day 03 : BASE OF WARI-LA - YAKZI PULLU
Start early for Yakzi Pullu, a gradual climb will take you on top of Wari-la and a gradual descend of 3 hours will bring you to the pastures of Tangyar village, also known as Yakzi Pullu. There are about 35 families in this village. Overnight camp.

Day 04 : YAKZI PULLU - KHUNGROO
The trek takes 6 hours. Enroute visit Tangyar monastery ( 13200 ft. ).
Tangyar village has about 9 families. Overnight in camp.

Day 05 : KHUNGROO - BASE OF DIGGER-LA
Start early as a steep ascend takes you to the base of Digger-la visiting enroute the village of Digger which has about 5 families. Overnight camp.

Day 06 : BASE OF DIGGER-LA - SABOO PHOO
Morning a trek of 3 hours takes you to the top of Digger-la (16700 ft.)
descend to the campsite at Saboo Phoo.

Day 07 : SABOO PHOO - SABOO - LEH
An easy trek of 3 hours brings you to Saboo village, famous for its Oracle . Drive 25 minutes to Leh.

COST WILL INCLUDE

• Board and lodge during trekking with Continent, Indian & Ladakhi food.
