Day 01 (Monday / Thursday) :Arrival
Paro. After checking at hotel visit Paro town.
Welcome cocktails in the evening followed by dinner.
Day 02 (Tuesday / Friday) :
Early morning excursion trek to Taktsang Monastery (3-4 hrs).
Afternoon tour of the Ta-Dzong (National museum), Ringpung
Dzong and Paro town along with other places of interest. Overnight
hotel in Paro.
Day 03 (Wednesday / Saturday) :
Drive to Thimpu. Enroute visit the Simtokha Dzong which houses
the school of Dzongkha - Bhutan 's National Language. In the
afternoon visit the Thimpu including the Memorial Chorten,
Painting School , National Library and the Handycraft emporium.
If time permits visit the Tashichodzong - the administrative
centre or Bhutan . Overnight at hotel in Thimpu.
Day 04 (Thursday / Sunday) :
Take the scenic drive to Punakha. Weather permitting enjoy
panoramic views fo the Bhutan Himalayan peaks from the Dochula
pass (3050 mts). On arrival visit Punakha Dzong. Overnight
at hotel in Punakha.
Day 05 (Friday / Monday) :
Day trip east to hidden Phobjekha valley to visit of Gangte
Gompa
and back to hotel in Punakha for overnight.
Day 06 (Saturday / Thesday) :
Drive to Thimpu. Afternoon free in Thimpu. Overnight at hotel
in Thimpu.
Day 07 (Sunday / Wednesday) : Return to Paro.
Afternoon at leisure, overnight hotel in Paro.
Day 08 (Monday / Thursday) :
Early morning trandfer to airport for departure.
